Graduate Town Planner

This role is an excellent starting position for a graduate town planner working towards their MRTPI, and the job has great future potential for promotion within the wider business onto other projects in telecommunications, EV Car charging and Planning Appeals.

The Graduate Town Planner will be required to work on very busy Telecommunications and Advertising project with massive national client, in either Manchester or Glasgow offices.

The Graduate Town Planner shall assist experienced planners and be trained how to;

• Undertake site searches to identify new locations for BT Street Hubs.
• Help prepare planning drawings and Photomontages to be submitted with your planning applications
• Undertake pre-application discussions with Local Planning Authorities
• Prepare and submit Full Planning Applications and Planning Advert Applications for Street Hub structures, justifying the proposal against the Local Plan and National Planning Policy’s
• Negotiate planning conditions and decisions with the Local Planning Authority case officer

We’d be interested in speaking with candidates who;

• Preferably hold an MRTPI Accredited Town Planning Degree or an MRICS Accredited Course
• Have a UK Driving License as travel to sites will be required
• Can demonstrate a willingness to learn
• Have an interest in the Telecommunications industry
• Could have a few years experience in a similar role
