Our Design Surveyor responsibilities include;

  • Assessing design requirements on surveys for Telecom sites (Rooftop, Greenfield and Streetworks)
  • Implement safe buildable designs as per the client’s specifications and current legislation
  • Provide quality assurance on site designs
  • Liaise and work with other departments to achieve design solutions
  • Contribute to the production of MSVs
  • Supporting Head of Design where required

We would love to hear from you if you have skills and experience in the following;

  • Previous Design Surveyor experience within the Mobile Telecommunications industry, or perhaps done a similar role as Design Engineer / Structural Engineer / Field Engineer / Auditor / Surveyor who has completed accurate surveying and understands structural and electrical design
  • On-site exposure as opposed to pure back office design
  • AutoCAD understanding

Regional Property Surveyor

Job Title – Regional Property Surveyor (Telecoms)

Job Location – Coventry, Warwickshire

Job Role:

The individual RPS roles will work at a national, and regional level, with teams both internally and externally to the client, all working in close collaboration, and maximising the use of workflows, OSS and tools.

The RPS will be accountable for the day to day estate management in their individually allocated portfolio of sites; being the nominated subject matter specialist lead responsible for overall management and professional direction given in respect to specific cohort of sites.

  • New Code Agreement renewals
  • Support any unilateral EE programme responsible for Unilateral New Code NTQ replacements
  • Exit Management and surrender negotiations
  • Old Code Matters including ’54 Act
  • Rent reviews

  • Responsibilities

    • Introduce, through training workshops, the clients Property processes.
    • Engaging cross-functionally as well as within the Property Department to inspire and empower process change.
    • Provide support to Shareholders, Suppliers and Contractors in the implementation of ECC reform especially in the context of renewals and to act as an escalation point when issues are encountered.
    • Introduce innovation into all processes that can impact results, enhance delivery and assist the organisation to meet its business objectives and goals.
    • Implement any “quick win” process improvements to enhance delivery and to react to what will be a rapidly evolving workspace.
    • Support internal and external stakeholders in Acquisition, Legal Deployment and Transmission functions.
    • Have a vision of the big picture and be able to foster an environment of continuous improvement.

    Experience

    • Telecoms experience, gained at either Operator, Managed Service Supplier or Small Works Contractor level,
    • Valuation expertise gained working for Charted Surveying practise or similar
    • Excellent property knowledge
    • Demonstrable experience in Business Process and Transformational Change
    • Property related qualifications (RICS or CAAV membership) or comparable experience

The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills with relevant industry experience and an ability to be proactive in meeting with and exceeding customer expectations and service level agreements.

    Responsibilities

    • Collate and generate job packs / Handover packs (HOP’s).
    • Coordinate the production of HOPs for multiple workstreams.
    • Act as point of contact for HOP exception clearance/resolution.
    • To ensure the internal and external client tracker is reconciled with internal system.
    • Verify information on HOPs with different departments (Rigging/Build/etc) to ensure quality of HOP is maintained prior to client submission.
    • Ensure internal trackers and database with client system, ensuring alignment and correct data input.
    • Assign to relevant resources and manage snag process/trackers.
    • Interface between our new/existing Customers and other departments.
    • Work closely with assigned Project Managers acting as a key point of contact for all project queries and updates.
    • Work with the Project Manager to ensure all project documentation is up to date, version controlled and available in the correct folder.
    • Ownership of project delivery problems raised by customers.
    • Escalation of appropriate issues both internally and externally to resolve resource and delivery issues.

    Symology Coordinator

    Job Title – Symology Coordinator

    Job Location – Remote

    Job Role:

    • To manage resource requirements within the team using the project tracker for job/resource availability and provide status updates
    • Accessing multiple systems; prepare, submit and close down permits and notices required for streetworks programme
    • Assist with streetworks / symology reporting
    • Ensure TMA are fully prosecuted
    • Liaise with local authorities
    • To generate orders and manage the PO process
    • To ensure the internal and external client tracker is reconciled with Greentree
    • Ensure internal trackers and database with client system, ensuring alignment and correct data input
    • Collate and generate job packs / Handover packs (HOP’s)
    • Responsible for reviewing materials / picklists and escalating any issues to the relevant specialist for resolution (Rigging/I&C/Transmission)
    • Work with the Project Manager to ensure all project documentation is up to date, version controlled and available in the correct folder
    • To work with the logistics manager to ensure timely delivery of materials to site (against project tracker) and book external deliveries as required.

    The QSHE Auditor’s role is to support the maintenance of ISO/OHSAS standards within the Business and to support the QHSE Manager by ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained in proactively performing quality and safety audits with our field resource Nationwide.

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the completion of internal and external audits in line with Comvergent and client requirements.
    • Assist in non-compliance through inspection and audit, project work, and accident and near-miss investigation
    • Upkeep of electronic records to track deployed assets and/or material.
    • Assist in the calibration and/or certification of assets and safety equipment.
    • To undertake tasks and projects as agreed that are within jobholder’s experience, skills and capabilities.
    • Complete H&S audits of field-based telecommunications engineers, completing and submitting accurate audit results.
    • Complete PPE & LOLER equipment formal inspections and provide accurate inspection information.

    Skills and Experience Required:

    • Current knowledge of network technologies across fixed and mobile infrastructure Essential
    • Previous experience conducting Field Engineer Audits within the Telecommunications industry.
