Streetworks Coordinator

Job Title – Streetworks Coordinator

Job Location – (Chester/Remote)

Job Role:

  • To manage resource requirements within the team using the project tracker for job/resource availability and provide status updates
  • Accessing multiple systems; prepare, submit and close down permits and notices required for streetworks programme
  • Assist with streetworks / symology reporting
  • Ensure TMA are fully prosecuted
  • Liaise with local authorities
  • To generate orders and manage the PO process
  • To ensure the internal and external client tracker is reconciled with Greentree
  • Ensure internal trackers and database with client system, ensuring alignment and correct data input
  • Collate and generate job packs / Handover packs (HOP’s)
  • Responsible for reviewing materials / picklists and escalating any issues to the relevant specialist for resolution (Rigging/I&C/Transmission)
  • Work with the Project Manager to ensure all project documentation is up to date, version controlled and available in the correct folder
  • To work with the logistics manager to ensure timely delivery of materials to site (against project tracker) and book external deliveries as required.

Experience

  • Project Coordination experience within Telecoms
  • Previous experience using symology systems; eToN for example
  • Background working in a streetworks department with good understanding of permitting scheme
  • Project Delivery experience within Telecoms
  • Effective communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in working as part of a busy team

Due to the hard work and efforts of our team we are now looking to expand our Warehouse further and are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team working from our Warehouse in Saltney, Chester.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the role will be responsible for the set up and day to day management of the consumables inventory stock system and the allocation of internal/contract delivery and collections.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Stock:
    • Identify new inventory items
    • Confirm supplier and quotes
    • Process PO, raise, receipt.
    • Book stock into inventory
    • Process inventory ‘pick lists’ i.e. issue inventory from stock to engineer/job
    • Manage min/max levels
    • Confirm supplier pricing, reorder process
  • Logistics movements:
    • Confirm collections/deliveries with PMO
    • Allocate internal drivers on resource tracker
    • Allocate to suppliers – quote/PO against relevant job/receipt
    • Improve utilisation i.e. multiple drops/collections per trip to achieve delivery SLA on site

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Knowledge of stock management systems and processes.
  • Previous experience with supplier management.
  • Attention to detail.
  • 3 years of previous stock management experience.
  • IT literate – EXCEL/WORD/OUTLOOK.
  • FLT license would be beneficial.
  • Driving license.

Mitel Telecommunications Engineer

Telecommunications Engineer (Mitel Specialist)

Location: Office based in Chester, with expectation to assist customers across the North West & surrounding area.

Our Client is a long established provider of business telephony systems to various customers through the UK and they are seeking a talented Telecommunications Engineer with a focus on Mitel certifications (particularly Mivoice 250 solutions) to join their team.

The succesful Telecommunication engineer must be able to solve problems according to the situation and provide appropriate solutions using telecommunications knowledge including ISDN (integrated services digital network) SIP communication standards and analogue services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on helpdesk and fault diagnostics
  • Make site visits when needed to solve problems regarding communicating devices.
  • Inspect and service telecommunication systems including Mitel 250, Panasonic, NEC and Gamma Horizon
  • Install and check broadband/leased line routers
  • Engineers will also have installed and created networks for telecommunication systems and cooperate with the team members to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Log faults with Channel Partners and update internal and external fault tickets.
  • Record customer details and changes on our CRM system
  • Be prepared to develop own skills using Online and Residential courses
  • Return weekly time sheets to the Technical Manager

Skills Required:

  • Experience in networking essential.
  • Knowledge in software that supports telecommunication systems.
  • Knowledge of programming language, conversant with Wireshark and router configuration
  • Up to date Mitel accreditation including knowledge of Phone Manager and Xarios Call Recorders.
  • Must demonstrate good problem solving ability.
  • Capability to handle all kinds of telecommunicating devices and use them correctly
  • Full clean driving license
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field

Rigging Project Engineer

Rigging Project Engineer

Reporting to the Rigging Dept, you will be responsible for the detailed gating, defining the programme of works (POW) and producing a scope of works (SOW) in the support of complex site based rigging activities.

Primarily office based, this role will be based at the Saltney Head Office with requirements to attend regular client meetings and the occasional site visit.

Responsibilities

  • Review client instructions and provide guidance on survey requirements.
  • Gate completed surveys and identify SOW.
  • Provide POW to satisfy the agreed SOW, considering MATS, client and internal working practice requirements and specifications.
  • Provide detailed information for the risk assessment and method statements required to support the on-site activity.
  • Provide rigging consumables pick lists.
  • Support on the day activities, providing guidance to Rigging Field Engineers, Team Leads and back office functions.

Knowledge and skills

  • Able to read and understand Detailed Design drawings
  • Experience of completing Surveys across multiple operators designs
  • Demonstrate experience in structural site build activities and planning, from face frames, headframe swaps, tower extensions and new builds.
  • Demonstrate detailed understanding of multiple operators site build requirements, in particular recent experience ofMBNL/EE/3UK/Huawei site installations.
    • Feeder installation, termination, earthing and labelling
    • Antenna installation
    • RRU installation, DC installation and fibre testing
    • Ancillary steelwork installation
  • Demonstrate understanding of multiple operators testing requirements and test equipment use.
    • Sitemaster System Return Loss and Distance to Fault
    • Alignment tool operation and data recording
  • Demonstrate an understanding of HOP requirements and support the field teams to provide HOPS within 12 hours of work completion.
    • Experience of MBNL Antenna pre-tests submission
    • Experience of completing all aspects of the MBNL BHOP ready for submission
  • Quality focussed, finding ways to enhance standards
  • Strong communicator, being able to explain wider implications of decisions

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 year’s experience in PCN rigging
  • 3-5 year’s experience at a supervisory level
  • Mandatory Working at Height qualifications in date
  • Medically deemed fit to climb
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Driving license
  • Relevant H&S qualifications would be advantageous.
