Project Administrator responsibilities;

  • Accurate reporting on project trackers and internal database software.
  • Liaise with Engineers onsite for access to site, kit / equipment issues etc.
  • Ensure data is correctly entered into handover documentation and internal database
  • Support Project Coordinator with administrative requirements
  • Escalation point for internal and external issues to resolve logistics, materials and compliance issues.

Background from Project Administrator;

  • 2+ years working experience as a Project Administrator (or similar) where a service is being delivered in a B2B environment (Telecommunications, Utilities, Engineering etc)
  • Worked in a pressured envrionment holding responsibility

Skills & Qualifications required from Project Administrator;

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs A*-C or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Flexibility in approach to work
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • IT skills; MS Office (Excel and Word)

Due to an exciting period of growth, Comvergent are looking for a confident and organised Finance Project Administrator to join an existing team in our Chester office.

This role is perfect for someone with strong financial administration and organisation skills, who is looking for a friendly and exciting working environment.

The Project Finance Administrator responsibilities include;

  • Gather information relating to billing cycles
  • Check PO cover prior to work going ahead
  • Ensure internal teams keep accurate list of work completed with values associated for reporting
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Ensure our ERP system is up to date
  • Ensure all contractor invoices and expenses are input correctly
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Financial Administration role (or similar) is beneficial, especially where a service is being delivered in a B2B environment (Telecoms, Engineering, Utilities, Construction etc).
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs A*-C or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT skills; a good understanding of MS Office (Excel and Word)
  • Understanding on ERP systems

Warehouse / Driver

Driver / Warehouse Operative

Location: Saltney / Chester, CH4 8RH

Type: Contract (Full-time, Mon-Fri)

Expected Hours: 35-40 per week

Rate: £10.00 per hour

Working in a duel role the Driver / Warehouse Operative will be responsible for;

  • Stock control in warehouse
  • Moving goods inside warehouse onto delivery vans with use of Counterbalance forklift truck
  • Ensure stock levels are monitored and reported on
  • Keep warehouse clean and tidy
  • Label incomming and outgoing goods between warehouse and delivery
  • Delivery goods to site nationwide when required with use of company vehicle
  • Assist Warehouse Manager with duties in warehouse

Background and Skills from Driver / Warehouse Operative;

  • FLT license; Counterbalance is essential
  • Clean Driving License
  • Flexible in working approach being able to support operations in busy periods between delivery and warehouse
  • Can-do attitude

Finance Coordinator – Purchases

Finance Coordinator – Purchases

Chester

Reporting to the Finance Controller, the successful Finance Coordinator (Purchases) will ensure that all financial information is gated, processed and accurately stored (both in soft and hard formats) whilst ensuring good communication with other finance/non finance teams and support the Financial controller where necessary.

Finance Coordinator (Purchases) responsibilities;

  • Ensure all approved purchase invoices are collected and entered onto the group’s accounting system with the correct coding within the group’s SLAs
  • Assist in the collation of information for new suppliers and ensure they are added to the accounts system in line with the monthly payment process
  • Ensure purchase invoices are put forward for payment in line with the payment terms of the account
  • Liaise with Project Finance Coordinators to ensure accurate collection and payment of project specific invoices on a timely basis
  • Take control of all overheads related invoices
  • Prepare and execute timely accounting software imports and reports as requested
  • Process and administration of expenses including coding and allocation of VAT
  • Assist the Financial Controller with short term cash planning including creation of a payment schedule based on purchase invoices awaiting payment
  • Set up payments on ERP for approval based on payment terms of purchase invoices and other regular payments (Payroll, HMRC and expenses)
  • Reconcile Company bank accounts on ERP and complete month end processes for each Company.
  • Issue remittances & payment dates to suppliers
  • Liaise with internal and external departments to resolve financial issues

Skills and Experience from Finance Coordinator (Purchases);

  • Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Finance Coordinator position or similar
  • Strong understanding of Excel
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • AAT desired

Project Engineer (I&C)

Chester

Providing technicall support to field resource, and technical gating of EE / VF sites the Project Engineer responsibilities;

  • Technical gating of all sites within the upgrade pot
  • Support with BTS solutions and HBOM
  • Create PBOM from DD / site survey
  • Support remotely with engineers onsite for issues with Huawei installation and commissioning, tech add upgrades, cabinet swaps, expansion activities, RRU installation, commissioning & integration, Antenna upgrades, Huawei BTS troubleshooting etc.
  • Support project teams with HOPs

Background from Project Engineer;

  • Solid understanding (3+ years) of Huawei BTS at a technical level for I&C related issues
  • Experience on either Vodafone or EE related works, preferably on huawei vendor kit.
  • Ability to identify technical process inefficiencies

This is being advertised as a Permanent opportunity, however, for the right person, Comvergent would consider a contractor also.

  • Support Project Manager on EE wireless programme.
  • Schedule engineer workloads
  • Update various trackers on status of jobs, kit etc
  • Ensure permits, outages, RAMS, scope of works etc are in place for Engineers to carry out works
  • Communication with external suppliers to ensure works carried out hit SLA.
  • Communicate on the day with Engineers on site
  • Support team with handover packs
  • Raise PO’s through internal system for use of suppliers

Background from Project Coordinator;

  • Previous telecoms background in a similar project supporting role on large deployment projects (2G refresh, DICI, Beacon, Darwin, etc).
  • Understanding of telecom projects and it’s processes to get work completed onsite (i.e. installation & commissioning, Rigging, electrical etc)
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT literate (MS office)

Based out of our head office in Chester, the Project Coordinator provides appropriate operational support to field resources in order to successfully deliver telecom solutions onsite. The successful candidate will have experience of working within the Telecoms industry as a Project Coordinator or similar role prior.
