2nd line support Engineer (Mandarin Speaking)

2nd Line Support Engineer (Must be able to speak Mandarin)
Location: Woking GU21

We are seeking a skilled 2nd line engineer who is comfortable with leading a team and a confident communicator in both English and Mandarin. This is an opportunity to work for some of the worlds biggest, multinational IT companies on a large scale datacentre rollout project, with a potential tenure of 2 years.

* Act as service escalation point
* 2nd line technical support on server deployment and maintenance issues
* Training 1st line engineers; technical and processes
* Ensure ticket issues remain inside customer SLA
* Shift arrangement with 1st line engineers
* Provide out of hours on-call and call-out support in Emergency service requirements

* Educated to Degree level or relevant working experience

* 3+ year Server Maintenance or Linux system maintenance
* Previous 2nd line or Line Management responsibilities in IT maintenance environment / Data Center

Skills and Experience;
* Have the knowledge of networking and server – Cisco or Huawei certification is preferred
* Able to work on-call
* Proficient in the use of fault management systems and MS Office tools.
* Exposure to a Data Center working environment
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Mandarin language skills are essential
* Demonstrate ability to prioritise and manage tasks pressure
* Tencent tracking system knowledge would be beneficial but training is provided
