Marketing Manager responsibilities;

  • Establishing a coherent marketing strategy which meets the business goals as defined by the board
  • Promoting the brand and services portfolio to its established and target client base
  • Planning, developing and implementing effective marketing communication campaigns
  • Creating and managing internal and external communications plans
  • Clear and effective copywriting for presentations, sales collateral, web content, case studies, blog-posts and PR activity
  • Managing digital communications and social media channel, both internal and external.

Marketing Manager essential skills;

  • Experience of managing brand marketing activity from start to finish
  • Experience in marketing in a B2B environment (ideally within the telecoms, utilities or technology sectors)
  • Proven track record in executing multi-channel, on and off-line, marketing campaigns to generate leads (e.g. Direct Mail, Email, Events, Social Media etc.)
  • Effective management of client relationships, particularly with client operational and procurement teams
  • Excellent copywriting skills with experience in collateral creation
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Creative and strategic thinking
  • Effective organisational skills

Desirable skills;

  • WordPress

Professional and Educational Requirements;

  • 3+ years industry experience
  • CIM qualification
  • Educated to Degree level in Marketing would be advantageous

Based out of their head office in Chester, you will have end to end responsibility for B2B marketing strategy, including on an offline campaigns to stimulate awareness and drive lead generation.

Job Description

As a Digital Engagement Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a functional digital communications team across Europe and Latin America. You will be responsible for driving customer engagements and brand positioning activities on all our digital channels. Through strategic thinking, strong data driven customer insight, and operational excellence, you’ll maximise scale and efficiency of our customer engagement and brand awareness in the digital space. You’ll work closely with customer marketing, strategic marketing and external communications teams to enhance our interaction with customers and our target audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning and leading all digital channels strategies and execution in the market area
  • Defining our channel, audience and content strategies and manage a continuous, meticulously planned and documented execution plan
  • Writing up proposals, testing roadmaps and campaign reviews
  • Special focus on targeting customers in the digital channels, segmentation and targeting and evaluation
  • Delivering consistent engagement growth and digital activation performance improvements
  • Forecasting and analysing channel performance and opportunities
  • Working closely with other marketing and communication teams within the market area, especially customer marketing, strategic marketing and external communications teams, to ensure key launches and programs are supported.
  • Bring offline customer engagement to online and broaden our activities towards our customers in digital channels
  • Functionally leading digital communications teams in the market area

Experience

  • Extensive experience working with the tools and techniques of digital communications
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering the day to day engagement while defining and leading the future direction
  • Highly analytic and passionate about data and able to find insight in it
  • A strong collaborator able to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experienced in multi-territory digital campaign management
  • High effective communicator able to present complex and data rich proposals simply, both in written and verbal form.
